Drawing on Perspective: A Sketch Session with Stuart Kerr

Join Stuart Kerr of Stuco Design for a relaxed and practical drawing session exploring perspective and composition. Stuart will kick things off with a quick intro and a look at some of his sketches from around Glasgow, followed by a short, informal chat about drawing fundamentals.

We’ll warm up with fun, pressure-free exercises—think blind contour drawing, shape construction, and tone studies—to shake off self-consciousness and get everyone in the flow. Then it’s time to pick your point of view and dive into some speed drawing to build confidence and loosen up. The session wraps with time to develop a full drawing, with Stuart on hand to demo techniques, give tips, and offer guidance as you work.

All levels welcome—just bring a willingness to try, we’ll provide a glass of wine!
